Collect Critical Supplies!
There are more than 3400 homeless students in Washoe County with over 7500 homeless students in Clark County. Project 150 Reno serves nearly serves nearly 1,500 homeless, displaced and disadvantaged students in 8 high schools in Northern Nevada and 36 high schools in Southern Nevada. Project 150 Reno collects teen appropriate clothing, toiletries, non perishable food, and school supplies year round. Throughout the year we hold special drives for high school sports equipment, formal wear, blankets and other seasonal items as needed.
Each month we have a key item that we focus our collection effort on. Project 150 Reno collaborates with many organizations in our community who share our mission of providing basic needs to homeless, displaced and disadvantaged high school students. If you’re planning to host a collection drive consider choosing an item from our monthly list.

Your business, organization, school, church, or other community group can make a big difference by hosting a drive and spreading the word!
Homeless, displaced and disadvantaged teens are in constant need of hygiene supplies, school supplies, clothing, food and bus passes. Bus tickets get these young people to job interviews, medical appointments, shelter, and other services. Every in kind donation helps us stretch the budget! Hosting a collection drive does more than help us provide these critical items to those in need, it raises awareness in the community!
How to Host a Drive…Spread the Word
Most people want to help: they just need to be asked. You can send emails, use postcards or flyers, or post to Facebook, Twitter and other social media. Bring up the drive at meetings and group gatherings. Host a party and ask guests to bring a donated item. Get Creative!
Make it Easy to Donate
Have a central location for people to drop off their items. Place drop boxes in several locations around your school or office. You can also collect items during a holiday party or office gathering. Monetary donations, including gift cards, are also a huge help!
Deliver Your Donations to a Project 150 Reno donation drop off location.
